Cabin Safety Officer

Tasks descriptions

  • Participation in the Company’s Safety Management System
  • Conduct flight attendant initial and recurrent training
  • Revising current and approved flight attendant manual and flight attendant training manual
  • Assist in monitoring daily operations through regular review of flight documents and reconciling various documents and related reports
  • Participate in flight operations departmental projects
  • Assure in-flight safety and service standards are met
  • Monitoring Company operations and procedures to ensure that they are compliant with TC regulations, Air Inuit’s manuals, technical manuals and publications such as AC, FOM, AFM, FAM, etc.
  • Assisting in the interviewing and selection of new hires
  • Attending the operations and departmental meetings, as required
 

Requirements

  • Bilingual written and spoken (French/English), Inuktitut (an asset);
  • Aviation experience
  • Experience in instruction and with regulatory documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of the procedures relatives to the Flight Attendant Manual and CARS
  • Professional attitude, responsible and reliable
  • Management ability
